Biography

You can find a strong source of inspiration throughout Peter Ricq's illustrations that have evolved from working in animation and comic books. He is currently working as an art director at an animation studio in Vancouver.

His work has beeen exhibited in Montreal, Vancouver, San Diego and Portland and has been featured in several international magazines (Hemp, Under Pressure, CRUX) and in Wallfarmers, a website dedicated on exposing new and established contemporary artists. His last animated short film (Glitch) was awarded with nine best animation awards and one jury prize. He is also the co-creator of an animated television series for Children which airs on BBC, Cartoon Network, YTV, Canal and another 50 other chanels worldwide. Peter also has another four animated series in development and a band (HUMANS) which is currently getting some world wide buzz.
